Lawyers Customized and Committed to You.

Once upon a time, the relationship between a lawyer and a client was more personal, less corporate.  If a client found the one right lawyer, he or she might be the client's close advisor for a lifetime, and about many things.

That's the kind of relationship we strive to have with our clients.  The role requires breadth of experience and depth of knowledge.  It also means having more concern for our clients' interests than our own bottom line.  It's old school in that way, and so are we.

But in the Information Age, to be worthy of hearing the words "you are my lawyer" requires an ability to understand and distill complex, cross-discipinary situations quickly.  To think and react to problems no one has seen or solved before.  Some of the largest companies in the world come to us for exactly that kind of work.  There was no map for developing the skill set required.  Only a mindset: always seek out new challenges.  We are new school in that way, and we always have been.

If you want an attorney whose career is built on handling a small set of similar problems over and over, you probably need to look elsewhere.  If you need to hire a large law firm, because you don't believe a smaller, but experienced firm that tailors itself to your needs could be just as competent and effective, you probably also need to look elsewhere.

If you are looking for a long-term relationship with trusted general counsel, or you face unusual or complex problems that you want managed by a single knowledgable individual or small, personal team, or you just want a good lawyer, you might be looking in the right place.
