Edward M. Anderson

Edward Anderson

Edward began working in the Los Angeles legal community in 1992.  He graduated from Stanford University in 1991 and from Boalt Hall, University of California at Berkeley, in 1998.

Edward started in securities and corporate governance litigation.  He was also on the legal teams for seminal entertainment cases such as Mainline Pictures v. Basinger, involving the film "Boxing Helena," to the Grokster suit involving peer-to-peer copyright infringement.  Edward founded the practice in 2007 after several years as in-house litigation counsel for a major Hollywood studio.  Over time, Edward's practice evolved to include advising entertainment clients on complex issues that are often as much business as legal.  Edward recently spent nearly three years as a global television sales and distribution business affairs executive for another major studio before returning to the practice full time in 2014.

He continues to litigate for clients in a range of industries, to perform entertainment transactional work, and consults on the motion picture and television business.  See Edward's Full Bio.
